I partnered with SAP VP of Experience Analytics and Figma’s Head of Insights to develop a three hour interactive workshop grounded in leading industry data and leading practitioners through guided real-life training to triangulate executive goals, research questions, and data sources in a compelling, action-oriented way.
Deliver
We delivered workshops to groups during SAP’s transformational UX Design Academy, a convening for practitioner leaders. Several participants reached out after sharing the exercise increased buy-in from executives, unlocked study opportunities, and made them more effective researchers. My fellow speaker gave a nice write up on LinkedIn too!

I was invited by IBM’s Chief Design Officer to co-deliver a closing keynote for IBM’s Data and AI conference, attended by thousands of industry professionals across disciplines and industries. We highlighted to our customer audience how IBM is powered by their perspectives, and what drives our user-centric work. We also invited them to become design partners through our User Experience Program — individuals who actively work with our product design teams to help us build great product experiences.also

I love any opportunity to help customer understand how valuable they are to the product lifecycle, and it was a joy to deliver that on such a large stage (even with a prompter malfunction- I’m glad I memorized the talk! I also had the pleasure of leading a breakout workshop later in the conference, and was thrilled to sign up 100 new sponsor users that weekend! Hired for my concise and relatable writing style, I interviewed community members and analyzed contemporary and historical program content to articulate the unique nature of the interdisciplinary problem-solving degree. I worked with Drupal engineers to wireframe an intuitive site and adapt interface language accordingly.

The new site synthesizes a vast and complex program into a digestible narrative, with a new information architecture that shares vital admissions information, directs different user groups to relevant content, and celebrates the community’s diverse attributes.

Design
Writing for fundraising is persuasiveness at work, employing business skills of the highest order. Effective content requires strategic donor research, concise articulation of ask, contextualization of value proposition, and authentic appreciation and engagement.
Deliver
My writing has successfully supported $45 million dollar fundraising campaigns; I have motivated private acts for the public good at the world's largest performing arts institution and for higher education institutions. Projects include ask letters, email campaigns, and major gift proposals, and have been used for event fundraising, capital campaigns, and institutional giving.
